Welcome to Lamar High School (The Home of the Silver Foxes)
My name is Dr. Marlon L. Thomas and I serve as Principal. Prior to coming to Lamar, I served as an Assistant Principal at Ridge View High School, Blythewood Middle School, Assistant Administrator and Biology Teacher at Richland Northeast High School, and Earth Science Teacher at Sullivan Middle School in Rock Hill, SC. While at Sullivan Middle School, I coached football and basketball. I am a proud graduate of South Carolina State University (Go Bulldogs!), where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology Education, a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Winthrop University and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision. I enjoy traveling and attending sporting events.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, and/or to share any joyful stories of success.
Go Silver Foxes!
