Greetings and Salutations!

My name is Mr. O. Wright, and I am Director of Bands here at Lamar High School. I am a proud graduate of Charleston County School District and Bethune-Cookman University. I am also a former Marching Wildcat (P.R.I.D.E.) of Bethune-Cookman University. I love music and love creating music. I not only teach you how to play an instrument, I also teach how to appreciate all genres of music.  I am proud of the Silver Powerhouse and all of their hard work. Within the Fine Arts department, we work hard, but we also have fun. Our department is based on your creativity, and we just enhance your skills. I hope you enter my class willing to learn, and depart my class ready to serve.

Faith is the first factor in a life devoted to service. Without it, nothing is possible. With it, nothing is impossible.
