My name is Mr. Clarence Lee DuBose, II and I will be your child's art teacher for the 2018-19 Academic School year at Lamar High School. It is a great honor teaching your child about the wonderful world of Art and its History.
About The Teacher:
- Graduated from Winthrop University with a Bachelors of Fine Art (Visual Communication Design) in 2003.
- Career Development Certified in 2011.
- Graduated from Francis Marion University with a Masters in Education (Learning Disabilities) in 2014.
- Taught Visual Art in the following school districts: (York County School District One 2007-2008) (Lee County School District 2008-2011) (Darlington County School District 2012-present)
- Worked as a Residential Counselor at York Place Group Home from (2004-2008).

- Three-time Teacher Feature at Spaulding Middle School.
- One time- Teacher Feature at Spaulding Elementary School.
- Teacher of Middle School Division Holiday Art Contest Winner of 2011.
- Teacher of Darlington County Art and Business Award Winner (Middle School Division) in 2016 and 2017.
- Teacher of Darlington County Art and Business Award Winner (High School Division) in 2017.
- Art Students participated in the Google 4 Doodle Art Contest in 2017.
- Art Student finishing second place in the SCEA Read Across the Sea Art Contest in 2018.
Course Description:
This course will provide Lamar High Art Students an opportunity to examine, explore, and manipulate several different mediums in art. This will be art criticism and the exploration of aesthetics in art.
